Redimensionar imágenes fácilmente

Utilizaremos moglify y será muy sencillo…

mogrify -resize 600 *.png

Donde 600 es el nuevo ancho en pixeles de la imágen, pero tener en cuenta que esto modifica las fotos y no hace una copia.
Por otra parte, no hace falta indicarle el alto de las imágenes ya que por defecto mantiene la proporción de las mismas.

Pero no es lo único que se puede hacer con mogrify

By default, the image format of `file’ is determined by its magic
number.  To specify a particular image format, precede the filename
with an image format name and a colon (i.e. ps:image) or specify the
image type as the filename suffix (i.e. image.ps).  Specify ‘file’ as
‘-‘ for standard input or output.
